Mark Kopitzke

One moment treating the Great American Songbook with honeyed tones, the next with the swagger of Sinatra — Mark skitters across stages and comes to rest with a rarified vulnerability and charm.

 

As a young performer, Mark reverently evoked 1940’s nostalgia with the Glenn Miller Orchestra World Tour for 9 years—witnessing the worldwide love of the timeless music.

Across L.A., Orange County, and up the West Coast, Mark lends his voice and infectious energy to vintage jazz recreations such as his own Mark Kopitzke Combo, a 1960’s revue called The Secret Agents, and at the Disney Resort. Mark is also a guest artist with several big bands including the star-studded Long Beach Municipal Band and the Spanish Harlem Orchestra.

Most recently, Mark has stepped into the symphony world, with his act The Kings of Soul & Swing. Teaming up with Hamilton star and Broadway veteran, Julius Thomas III, they get the audiences of the Bay Philharmonic and the Cape Symphony groovin.’
